Traveling directly to a hospital without prior consultation may result in wasted time and could even cause the patient to miss the optimal window for treatment. Patients are therefore advised to consult their preferred hospital or medical specialist in advance through a written assessment or video consultation to obtain a second medical opinion.
After reviewing the patient’s condition, the physician will provide treatment recommendations. Patients should consider traveling to Japan for treatment only after the hospital has confirmed that it is able to accept them. The appointment process begins with an assessment by a medical specialist. The patient must prepare relevant medical information, including their medical history, clinical records and examination results. These documents must then be translated into Japanese and submitted to the selected hospital in Japan.

If the patient is considered suitable for treatment, the hospital will provide detailed information regarding the proposed treatment plan, procedures and other relevant arrangements.
